So, Boris tweeted after the Peterborough by-election
He must realise, surely, that delivery of a no-deal Brexit will have the same effect - that of conveying Corbyn to No 10, for different reasons to be sure, but just as effectively.
The irony is Cameron went for the referendum to get rid of Farage and UKIP but due to his cowardice and May’s incompetence the Tories are right back where they were five years ago, you reap what you sow. As for Labour, Corbyn is doing his best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and I’m not convinced they’ll get a majority if a GE is called.
Dominic Grieve and others have said that they will resign the Tory whip under Boris Johnson, so an even smaller majority for him if he becomes PM.
However, he has just received the backing of Chris Grayling, so that might make Tory Party voters think again.
