All this time and all this expense to simply say yes to everything that you might as well have said yes to months ago. Bit I like and 100% expected is its being painted as a victory for May. Obviously the EU 27 would much rather deal with May than Corbyn, especially as Mays favourite song is Turn Turn Turn.
That’s the easy bit done, now to start on the more challenging negotiations!
I see the EU has already drafted and published a paper on how it sees Phase II negotiations going, while the UK still hasn’t decided what it aiming for, let alone a strategy for getting there. I wonder which side is in pole position to guide Phase II?
