We’ve finally found the most delicious potatoes we’ve eaten for years… La Grenaille…
I’m sure many of you will know them well… but they escaped our gaze until the other day…
I’ve kept a bit of the label, so I can make sure to buy them again…
Steamed, then turned in butter and sprinkled with black pepper… wonderful…
I’m sure there will be other similarly delicious ways of cooking them…
I look forward to my new potatoes from the garden every year…

Petites rattes du Touquet are nice. I can’t grow potatoes here - solid clay soil.

I bought Ratte seed potatoes, hoping they are similar to tge pink fir apple potatoes I grew in Scotland. Time will tell.
Not that different. Both waxy and useful in salads.
