I think it’s about time I replaced my trusty Collins Robert French-English Dictionary which was published in 1987. The question is, do I just replace it with a newer edition or have any of you got any better ideas? What’s your favourite and why?..I want a proper fat dictionary, not a pocket one!
Harrap's Shorter should do the trick for you Wendy. Don't be fooled by the name - there is nothing short about it!!
I wouldn't have gotten this far without it and it has a fabulous grammaire section in the middle
