This was built by someone I used to work with many years ago… They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but local councillors in the UK are fair game, right? ![]()
Interesting.
Got about a third of them right out of twenty or so, if I was wrong, it was usually only out by one party on the spectrum.
Hah! I got less than half right in about 30. Did best with Greens and useless at the rest - apart from the one photo that had the lib dem banner behind him,
A lot of my ‘incorrects’ were due to mistaking Tories for Reform or vice versa: telling.
I got 10 out of 34. Like Dr.Mark, I’d often mistake a Tory for Reform or vice versa, ditto Labour for LibDem. or LibDem for Green.
There’s visual nuances, but they still seem to approximately constitute a visual spectrum that corresponds to the political one!
And politics is definitely becoming more visual - I enjoy deconstructing current international RW politicians’ tropes of men’s ties (obvious), hair (bouffant, thick and over-gelled, big moustache, etc).
Like the end of Animal Farm (saddest book in world).
