Didn’t feel a thing and I’m not too far from the epicentre.
This goes some way to explaining why some folk felt it and others (in the same area:thinking:) did not …
I felt it but my husband did not, he was sitting next to me 
It was just the rattling of ornaments that caught his attention!

We live about 20k from the epicentre and I certainly felt it . I was indoors when a noise began , like a heavy lorry going over an unlevel road , it quickly grew till it was like sonic booms or bombs in quick succession; the house shook , windows rattled , and contents of cupboards rattled. It lasted about seven or so seconds . (as an ex-fireman , I am not easily shaken, but I thought there would be serious damage, going by the force of the event, but happily not the case!) A friend nearby ,reported that his car , parked with the handbrake on was moved some distance .

They weren’t earthquakes… check the dates and I think we will find that Jane was hosting a wild houseparty on each occasion…

Apparently living as I do in the Yonne is one of the safest places.
