Seen tassels and stuff like that in the Middle East… and Shepherd’s Market and Southend

Don’t think it has any particular affiliations or hidden meanings

You and everyone else make good points and I will try to be less “aggressive” in my posting.

I have a lack of empathy (though I’m not a psychopath) which coupled with a desire to understand why people do things, makes me “difficult” sometimes. This is why I’ve asked the type of questions in the naturism and motorbike threads that I have, because I want to understand “Why?”, because I don’t.

I should probably stick to technology and Sport where I have more knowledge or better still just stay out of general discussion and limit my posts to asking for help and advice which I have appreciated on this board. I moved to Gen, to absorb more and find community. It’s not one of my strengths.

I apologise if I have offended anyone (though I don’t think, I have ;-))

Have a nice day.

It’s not a problem to ask questions. :+1:t2:

It looks a bit like ms Parton to me.

That’s not to say I wouldn’t ride such a thing if I needed to (the bike, not the singer) but it’s clearly intended to make a statement (like a Harley, which I also wouldn’t choose to ride) rather than be ‘just’ a bike.

No need to limit yourself Johnnnnn, we’re all different and think differently. Whether is a techie or non techie subject I find saying, I don’t understand helps. Keep on posting, we’re not a bad bunch really, ( can get a bit tetchy in hot weather ).

For what it’s worth, I think you were being deliberately provocative in some of your questions.

There’s nothing necessarily wrong with that, but it will elicit a sharp response until people get used to you.

Certainly you shouldn’t feel there are any parts of the forum you shouldn’t post your opinions. Many of us are highly opinionated. You will soon spot those who can back up those opinions with reason!

I can confirm what Debby says…
and go even further…

I (unintentionally) drive people mad sometimes …and the other way around… so you sometimes being difficult is nothing to worry about

Having said that… I am pleased to learn that you are not a psychopath :+1:

Provocative could be a better word, It’s a tactic used to elicit more emotional and therefore less reserved replies, that help me to see things from other viewpoints. Over the last couple of years I’ve found more difficulty remembering the word that I want to use quickly enough to type.

Definitely that too

We even have a couple of people here who’ve admitted being on the autistic spectrum. It takes all sorts.
