Does anyone know of an English bookshop or book fair in the Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Aveyron or Toulouse area who will take 2nd hand books in English? We are moving house and I have several boxes of them we’ve turned out. I can’t bear to burn them! Likewise English origin DVDs.

Whenever I accumulate a lot of English books, various types, I take the hardbacks to the library for their English shelf and paperbacks I take to the charity depot Emmaus. Both establishments welcome them and I don't feel guilty about throwing them away.

Anne, where exactly are you. The reason I ask is that we hold an English book sale here (near Montguyon) twice a year to raise funds for Medecins Sans Frontiers and are always on the lookout for new stock. However, while prepared to travel long distances make is impractible sometimes.
