Shockingly I saw a Thames Water van this morning, with an actual worker looking intently at a manhole cover.
A Surrey County Council bod was there to supervise him - halving his efficiency at a stroke.

I don’t blame the actual workers, it’s the laudable management. Also our regulators (lunch club for the boys) also a government, pick any of the tossers who don’t actually stop this nonsense. Have you seen the news for East Grinstead and surrounding areas, all on bottled water
