Results of our little commune: 391 on the Electoral Roll and 250 votes cast.
RN gained 57
En Marche (Macron etc) 55
15 “wasted” votes
and about 8 other contenders shared the rest
Everyone else got zero !
(64% turnout)
RN won here with 23.5% of the vote. 54% turnout.
In my village / 71,86% turnout / 143 voted
In my department / 56,8% turnout / 66,746 voted
Summary : Village OK - Department shite !!
Top 3 in our village:
Looks like nationally RN has about the same as the FN last time, but En Marche and the Greens have taken votes from the old centre-right and centre-left parties - much the same picture as across most elections in the developed world over the last few years - voter movement from the old ‘centre-ground’ to more extreme and/or new parties.
Hmmm, definitely need to avoid discussing politics in the village
Top three
RN 30.54%
Greens 13.42%
En Marche 11.42%
55.37% turnout.

It’s complicated…Marine Le Pen visited the Morbihan and my local area in April…I’ve walked my Collies here and do have sympathy for the local people…
Here the main votes were totally split between En Marche and Le Pen, 20.8% each, with the greens doing well.
Here - 31% Le Pen, 19% Macron, then the rest with lower than 10% each. Ecology only got
6%. Depressing.
Both commune and department voted RN.
34.2% RN here
17.9 % Macron ( I think, page doesn’t load properly)
No real surprise
In ours, 53% turnout - a massive 83 votes!
29% en marche
24% le pen
The Creuse, 24% le pen, 18% en marche
Interesting reading these results - maybe tells you something about where Brits choose to live in France? (I read a few months ago that you can predict FN/RN vote share by measuring the distance to the nearest mainline rail station - the further away, the more support they have.)
But nationally I suspect RN will be really disappointed - at a time when across Europe more extreme left and right parties are both garnering votes at the expense of the old centre-left-and-right parties, RN have at best stood still - indeed I think they’ll end up with one or two fewer seats.

Toulouse top 3 - what’s quite ‘refreshing’ is that the GJ’s got absolutely nowhere - less than 0.5% of the vote nationally. I guess folks in Toulouse are just fed up with all the disruption and wanton violence!
Tête de listeListe | Toulouse% des voix |
---|---|
Nathalie LOISEAU RENAISSANCE SOUTENUE PAR LA RÉPUBLIQUE EN MARCHE, LE MODEM ET SES PARTENAIRES | 24,62% |
Yannick JADOT EUROPE ÉCOLOGIE | 21,27% |
Jordan BARDELLA PRENEZ LE POUVOIR, LISTE SOUTENUE PAR MARINE LE PEN | 11,38% |
I know this is about France, but I thought the ‘usal suspects’ voting in other countries was interesting
Extreme/Hard Right % I think these are the final figures.
Hungary 52.33% (Winners) "
Poland 45.56% "
Italy 34.7% "
UK 37.6% "
No real surprises there.
The Fascists won in my village also. Time to get the tin-foil hats out?
