If not for antibiotics, I would have died about 10 years ago of just that. I’m glad I got them.
I wouldn’t want to not have antibiotics, but we also can’t read the future, and don’t know if someone is being saved from a better death in order to experience a worse one.
First do no harm, did it mention 2nd?
We did have some good moments (in the early days), remembering fun times we’d all shared as a family (that sort of thing)
and MiLaw did apologise for trying to persuade her son not to marry me and then being critical of my efforts at running a home !
I crossed my fingers and told a white lie… assured her that I’d not noticed anything negative, only her support (reminding her of how she always ensured we eat well at weekends, when I didn’t know how to cook).![]()
I lost it when she thanked me for loving her son and being a good wife.
Spending time with someone who is critically/terminally ill can be comforting for all parties concerned, even though watching them deteriorate is/can be horrific.
Make that 10 days ago for me😬
So glad they worked for you Mark. Sounds like you and your family have been through a grim time.
I guess
o clock has been canceled for a while.
Get well soon!
Over 5 weeks and counting ![]()
That’s awful, hope you get better soon ![]()

My lungs have never been the same since my experience about 10 years ago. If I get the flu now it’s always bad.
