That’s such bad planning on their behalf  , I’ve got to go to England on Monday for my mother’s funeral (and then try to knock my warring siblings heads together).

Gosh… sounds like you’re in for a tough time… condoléances

Condoléances. That is something I am dreading as mum is 94 and in a home and goes from almost dead to full of life again, we just never know what each week will bring but when that time does come, it will be the very last time I will go to the UK and in fact, I ordered a CEAM card last week which came yesterday just in case as healthcare now is not free for us over there. Luckily for us (four of us) there is not much to fight over, thehouse went after dad died to pay for the care home as demanded by the social services and nothing of value left. As my sister said and she is usually the one who does all the catering for family events, there is only us left, all the family and friends of my parents are all gone now so it will be a pub do.

Thanks everyone

Sorry for you, hope your mother’s death wasn’t too unexpected.

The Theosophists believed that the dead live on as long as they’re remembered by the living.

And they do!
