Last night we finished the BBC drama series 'Top of the Lake' starring Elisabeth Moss from Mad Men and Peter Mullan (Trainspotting, Harry Potter franchise) who is reported as being a nasty piece of work by the New Zealand Herald where it was filmed. I think they might have over cooked that headline though!

Peter Mullan brilliant in Neds. Thank goodness for the french sub-titles or we wouldn't have understood a word.
Broadchurch the best series I thought this year.....and its coming back.

ha! my OH doesnt like TV...unless he chooses the programme....egg heads, university challenge and other quizzes....so I am plugged into my computer watching....although I did get fed up a while ago. We have the 'family' tv, which is pretty large...32 inches or so in old money in the snug....I went out and bought a 42 inch tv for the grand salon...(that is my tv!)

haha! busted! actually NEVER watch corrie...not since I was around 10 anyway....but I do watch 'enders...'bein a propa Cockney an all that'....the other soap I love and try and catch is Doctors at lunchtime on BBC 1......and I love Lidl....went shopping into Bergerac today. I like to go at lunchtime, suits me as the roads quieter. Lidl, Grande Frais and Intermarche...all of them open through lunch...in fact the only 3 food shops open through lunch in the strip in Bergerac...and today they got my huge spend...am feeding 12 peeps on Thursday nights...not to mention 'watering' them too....! Living in France got me started using Lidl...never used to use it in Newbury when I lived there full time...now I always go there...and to Aldi as well...good value and nice quality fruit and veg and love the Limoux and Lager.
See how nobody is truthful about watching Coronation Street" ? Bet they never, ever go shopping to Lidl either!
I’ve just started watching Low Winter Sun, again an American remake of an English show but the two lead characters are Mark Strong and Lennie James both English actors, a bit dark and gritty but I like that kind of thing. Ohh and Hannibal which has just finished was pretty good also.

Thanks Hugh, just checked out the websites so will try and get signed up for Netflix once I've worked out how to get it streamed to the tv!
House of Cards was excellent! Did you know that if you change your VPN server to a US one you'll get a whole different selection, no other changes required.
Using a VPN I also subscribe to Netflix which you have a fairly decent choice of viewing. Just finished watching house of cards withe Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, pretty good I think it’s a remake of the uk version.
