There’s no guarantee that having and recovering from the virus confers real immunity.

Or of it does, for how long.
As someone with a poor immune system, I am banking on a vaccine!

Well it’s actually starting to look as if compromised immune system (outside the totally zapped immune systems of cancer patients etc) may not be as much of a risk as previously thought. Can’t put my finger in it now of course, but initial analysis of X’000 patients that died didn’t show that patients with immune disorders were much more at risk than general population. Cardiovascular and lungs top the list of worries.

I have rubbish lungs. My immune system is fine.

Anyone understand Olivier Veran - 700000 tests a week - By ordnance from your MT - 2.8 million during the next month - Why do l find that difficult to believe? - Oh and while l am ranting - Why is France not allowing the Media to question the Government in a transparent way about their response to the Pandemic? - Rant Overish - until next time.

Don’t see that. I’m just watching the PM taking media questions about the lifting of restrictions from 11th May

I know you disagree with almost everything l post but please point me in the direction of the Press conferences that the government have fielded questions about the pandemic since March 17th - Particularly those that the Prime Minister has been challenged by the Media/

Today, of course, is a ‘Good News’ Day and any politician worth his salt would want to be attached. However, as the deaths were mounting up last month and the EHPAD figures were being buried don’t remember too many daily government briefings with questions from the Media - Do You?

I think you’ve revealed yourself to suffer from asthma? Might that not raise a question about your respiratory system’s immune response to extraneous or internal triggers?

The media here is different Dan, they seem more respectful of the government and ministers and there isn’t the same aggressive questioning that Hancock and co face from dawn till dusk.

Join a choir? (Socially distanced one of course…). Best thing ever for strengthening lungs, and loads of other good things.

Is that true Tim or is the Media being manipulated by Government - I don(t know, but the lack of questions, particularly about testing - How, When, Where is a cause for concern.

I always loved the chocolate biscuits and Battenberg cake after practice for the Church Choir - and l was hopelessly in love with the female lead soprano - although she never knew. The half- a- crown l got for a wedding solo was very welcome as we normally only got sixpence a week.

How old are you, I didn’t have you down as an old codger like PG? :astonished:

Wife loves Battenberg and we always brings some back with us on UK trips.

I’ve never considered that the EHPAD figures were buried.

besides which, the French executive are more open and truthful meaning that there is little to challenge them on

The feeling is quite obviously mutual. I suggest we leave it there.

How about answering my question - it’s not rocket science just a straightforward observation - l would love you to put me right and point us in the direction of all those open and transparent press conferences where media questions were answered during the months of March and April. Rather than a sweeping generalisation that the “French Executive” are more open and truthful - I assume your bashing the UK again - Forget your favourite bete noir and give me some facts!

Sorry @Dan_Wood I’m not going to bite or be drawn into a bun fight. I said to leave it there and I mean it.
I’m sure someone else keeps track of all and every press conference held by the French Executive and will answer your question.
Don’t bother trying to goad me into responding any more to you. I’ll just mute your account.
