They can be dislodged with a hoseful of cold water, I am still seething.
Perhaps France should have bought the water-cannon that UK government sold at an enormous loss…

Just a hosepipe would do, no need to hurt, just annoy and encourage to go home.
You don’t have to have the cannon on full assault… ah well… it turned out to be a total waste of money… except for the manufacturer and the company that sold it… in the first place… grrrrr
