French satellite TV

Roger. Go for the closest, you'll get better reception !

OK - so last week I cranked the dish round a bit and managed to get a strong signal at the point where the satellites I am now picking up are ASTRA 19.2E, EUTELSAT W3A, BONUM 1, and EUROBIRD 9A.

I've now got a lot more channels to look at (including about 300 German language!), but none of the main French channels (TV2 TV3 etc etc).

Should I be looking at ATLANTIC BIRD for the French channels? Has it got any English language channels on it? Do I need to get any special smart card?

Any thoughts/help VERY gratefully received! :-)

Thanks Brian!

Thanks for that Haydn.

Hi there,

Have a look at link below. just locate your property, choose the satellite you want to point the dish at and it will give you the direction roughly......you will of course have to check the vertical angle to position the dish

http://www.sat-direction.com/

Thanks Simon!

try looking at dishpointer.com will tell you exactly all angles required
