Just know there's a simple answer to this but I just don't know it!
Every so often when I'm looking at a site I get the message that I need Adobe Flash Player to see some particular content. The Galaxy Note will of course not accept Flash Player. So how do I get round the problem?
Also Google , Mozilla, Apple, MS and the Open Source community are pushing heavily for HTML5 , which does away with the direct need for flash.
You can turn this feature on in YouTube, and get around a lot of the Flash issues.
It is really annoying that there is not one Internet standard, as MS have tried Silverlight and failed as have Apple with Quicktime. No company is going to pay another just to get video content on a web page.
I think everyone hopes that HTML5 will be the final unifying solution.
Thanks guys. Think I'll do without it! if something sufficiently important/interesting crops up I'll just switch to the desktop. Not that it works very well with Chrome either!
Well flash is on the way out because MS stopped supporting it a while ago so you are plagued by old technology on old sites which will have to all be changed soon inevitably.
Otherwise you cannot get around it. Did you know this when you bought it? I of course have the same problem with an Ipad!
