circa 1911 onwards.

We’re at the foot of Mount Canigou in the Pyrénées Orientales, about 40km from Perpignan and the beaches, about the same from the ski-slopes.
We have two gîtes - a spacious converted grange, sleeps 7, with a beautiful South facing terrace and a stunning mountain view.
We also have a ground floor apartment, sleeps 4, very suitable for a couple with 1-2 young children, or two couples.
Both are ideally suited to people who like to explore the surrounding area. We’ve been here 9 years and are happy to recommend activities.
We have 2 spacious gites with private patios and bbqs with 12m x 6m secure fenced pool, shallow area about 6 inches deep for toddlers and a decking area with stunning views for sunbathers, seek the shade in our orchard or have a game of ping-pong.

Family-Friendly Gites in the Languedoc!
The seven large family-friendly gites at La Bastide des Lavandieres have en-suite bedrooms, large living & dining space & spacious balconies or terraces with bbq’s provided. Cots and highchairs are available and all apartments have Free WiFi and UK satellite TV.
There is a large 12m x 6m fully fenced & gated swimming pool with a shallow kids area, pool toys, sun loungers. Also there is an adventure play area on site and another across the road and “babyfoot” table for older kids.
Situated in a lovely quiet village in the Languedoc with a river beach and loads of outdoor activities and restaurants etc available nearby as well as accessibility to Nimes, Montpellier and Perpignan.

This is our gite Castelnaudary France which is 10 minutes from Castelnaudary and the Canal Du Midi in a country setting. We think it is a gorgeous place to stay and have had lots of previous guests agree with us, comfy beds, great pool and well equipped kitchen all in a 300 year + former water mill.
