Just heard on France Inter that the Académie Française has announced the simplifation of written French. As from January 2015 all accents will be abolished, so “Il est allé” will become “il est alle” and of course the Académie Française will become the Academie Francaise.
Did I manage to convince anyone??? April Fools!!!
