My name is Tanya and I moved to the Dordogne (nr. Ste Foy la Grande) with my husband, son & daughter. Some of you may know me already??? (My parents came too)
When we moved here nearly 8 years ago we had no pets but I had 2 babys - now we have 1 horse 1 pony, 2 alastians called Charlie and Jack, 2 rabbits Daisy and Poppy.
Le Sorcier my 14yr gelding TB stands at 16.3hh and is beautiful and has fab manners a real gent. But much more a show horse.
The new addition last year is Chester a 7 yr cob who stands 13.3hh - he is grey and quite cheeky - not great on the manners bit but we are working on that - but a great hack out pony which is why I bought him - also good with children and granmothers who want to have a go.
