One of our French neighbours has asked what UK sites they should advertise their house for holiday rentals to Brits - does anyone have any experience of this please?

Hi www.french-property.com is popular, you can also put ( holiday rentals in France) in to Facebook, there are groups and pages you can advertise on, another website is rent -in -France.co.uk
We have five rental clients here in 17 and they all use different sites to advertise their properties. Before they jump in though they need to be aware that Brits have different expectations to the French when it comes to renting holiday homes and their house may not appeal to the UK market. Also how good is their English?

For one, British tourists generally prefer that at least some English is spoken when greeted at the accommodation.

We find Brits to be very demanding and will complain about the slightest thing whereas the French seem more laid back and if everything’s not perfect they don’t let it spoil their holiday. The fact that your neighbours don’t speak English would be a huge problem IMO, how for example would they deal with enquries etc, Google translate will only get you so far.
