House / Dog Sitter or Home Swap for Christmas 2016?

Myself, my husband and our dog are planning a trip to the Poitou Charentes over Xmas / New Year 2016 / 17 to explore the area, with a view to moving over from Dorset next Spring. Are you - or anyone you know - looking for a responsible and mature house / dog sitter during this time (we are fairly flexible with dates)?

We would also consider a home swap for the Xmas period. We have a cosy, two-bedroomed house with an open fire, just 2 minutes away from the beach and central to all amenities in Weymouth, Dorset. I can provide photographs on request.

I am living in Poitou Charentes for 9 months of the year and Wareham over December, January and February, as the house here is too cold for those months. I can’t offer any house sitting therefore but am happy to chat about the pros and cons of Dorset vs Poitou Charentes if that would be useful. I will send you an email.
