Hi my husband and I are Australians, from Melbourne, currently living in the south of France on a 16 month house exchange, which will finish in March next year 2016. We would like to extend our stay in France, preferably in a large city, for another 6-9 months. We are wondering if anyone on this site would be interested in a house exchange to Australia. We are on several house swapping sites as well, but thought this might be another avenue to try, as well as for the helpful advice re living in France generally. Our house in Australia is in Glen Iris, an upper-middle class suburb 9 kms south east from the centre of Melbourne. It is very close to public transport and is next door to a park and a bike track along the river that leads to the centre of Melbourne and other places. A car exchange would also come with the house if you are interested. This map reference is unfortunately a few streets further east than our actual street. We are in Faircroft Ave if you want to look it up on Google Maps.
To look at several photos and a map, it is probably best to go to our home exchange website Home Exchange listing and type in our property number 416493.
