I just had to quickly write and say, I am sitting here at the computer and my 9 year old son is yattering away 10 to the dozen to two of his French school mates who have come over to play (as they do most evenings). They are currently looking for a plaster for an injured finger. I have to confess I don’t have the first clue what they are saying to one another most of the time, but it is just so wonderful to hear and know that my little boy, who I dragged to France age 5 and tossed into school not knowing one word of French, is now so comfortable in the language that still totally mystifies me!
