Ah, but they wouldn’t think that it applied to them.
Funnily enough, walking away without a deal has often got me a good one. With double glazing, a conservatory and cars. Anyone trying to sell you something has a bottom price.
One hell of a gamble when we have far more to gain than EU does.
The issue also crops up that in the scenarios you have suggested, at the point of walking away you risk returning to your position prior to walking away - ie not having paid any money and not getting new windows.
If however when discussing your double glazing that the consequence of your walking away meant that you had no windows in your house whatsoever then you may be less prone to walking away.
