Human Rights.. where are we?

Thoughts on this, anyone… ??

Are you really surprised? Trump relies on the Jewish and evangelical vote.

Re “Hypocritical and self-serving” claim…

So pot, kettle and black seems appropriate?

Mustn’t forget “cess-pool” claim either.

Of all the despicable things this disgusting excuse for a human being has done this has to be the worst.

Have you heard the recordings of children crying for their parents in these detention centres? Utterly heartbreaking.

DT has issued an ‘executive order’ to stop the separations.

He was pretty defiant right up until the whole world told him what they thought of this. Even Marine Le Pen said she disagreed with separating families.

As with every story there’s another side, if you question why Trump did what he did (before his u-turn) you have to start years ago with the US immigration policy under Obama. It has been the policy for years that asylum seekers were placed in camps whilst their case was heard but since 2015 children were not allowed to be held in the camps for more than a few days even if they were with their parents so in most cases the whole family was let into the country which simply encouraged more migrants to bring their children with them when they tried to enter the US illegally. Trump thought it would be a deterrent to separate the children from the parents but this has massively backfired and he’s been forced into a climbdown and made to look like a monster, meanwhile 0000’s of Mexicans continue to cross the border every month.

He is a monster… and no one else made him look like that, he did it all by himself. And then he said he couldn’t issue an executive order to change the policy… which was a lie… as he did exactly that a few days later.

If people think parts of the UK have been hit hard by immigration just visit some cities in the US where the predominant langauge is now Spanish.

Trump is attempting to stop illegal immigration (as he promised) but is going about it the wrong way.

The rising percentage of Spanish speaking in many US cities will happen without immigration. It’s to do with average family size. Spanish speaking tend to be Catholic and have more children than the 2.4 average, or whatever it is now, for the country as a whole. Perhaps Mr Trump needs to put a quota on family size as well. Mind you he would probably set the quota on children per wife allowing men to move onto another one once the quota is reached.

You could say that about the ever expanding muslim population in the UK.

Illegal immigration into the US is a huge problem that no president seems able to address.

I’m saying it about the USA where it has been acknowledged for years.

As per usual you are arguing for the sake of it David so I’ll butt out of this conversation.

It’s a fact Tim. A well known fact. Your post could have come straight from a Daily Mail type of newspaper. Your unrelenting support of Mr Trump must be gaining you thousands of new friends.

It’s got nothing to do with my supposed support of DT, the relentless Hispanic immigration into the US means the country will have the largest Spanish speaking population in the world by 2050. I didn’t refute your comment about the birth rate but it also applies to other races which is also a fact.

Here’s another fact - Trump is acting on his campaign promises whether people like them or not.

What does butt out mean?
