IDF murdering cowards vs babies ... Next the Gaza land grab

Heaven forbid I ever, ever meet an IDF member, or even an Israeli that’s of an age to have served in this genocide. I’m not sure what I’ll do, but it won’t be pretty.

Not sure why, although many have read this post, nobody has commented. Perhaps it is so awful that it is difficult to find the words. I feel exactly as you do but my condemnation if I ever met a participant would be linguistically ferocious in the extreme.

Saw a retired IDF General interviewed yesterday on Channel 4 News and how that Welsh bloke from the team kept his cool in the face of such blatant denial I do not know.

I just get tears of sadness at seeing these poor children. They have done nothing to deserve this treatment apart from being born in Gaza. Have boycotted all Israel products since this began and will continue to do so and from seeing products in the shop hardly touched, think many have the same idea.

Just seen article in local press about an attraction park near here in the Pyrénées refusing entry to 120 young Israeli tourists. Seems the owner(s) are going to be in trouble but you can see how people are feeling.

I just don’t understand why there is not mass outrage…..or at least I do because I suspect many, many people don’t care. I doubt all the burgeoning mass of Reform voters in the UK give a shit about a bunch of Palestinians for a start and with the rising popularity of the right wing across Europe, then likewise. The USA, the isolationist MAGA masses aside, is controlled by the Jewish lobby as are major global channels of communication and finance so it’s all pretty hopeless.

I think I might start taking a felt tip pen with me when shopping and as well as refusing to buy Israeli product will write ‘murdering bastards’ on the tickets. I’d possibly be arrested but it should vent some anger.

I think the owners should be commended.

It’s only got worse David.

You can find the article in L’Indépendant for Perpignan region.

Isn’t the problem with that the fact that it is not that easy to see the Israeli origins of products? Or is it easy and I am simply not seeing it?

In our local supermarkets, certainly in Intermarche, Lidl and Grand Frais, the country of origin is clearly marked.

It is Trump too.

Saying he is appalled at the Russian killing in Ukraine, yet supplies arms to his friend Netanyahu, another politician doing their very best to avoid the long arm of the law.

Note to self in that case ‘I must pay more attention’.

I think you will find now that everything fresh has to have a country of origin mentioned. I always look for locally grown stuff which I find the local supermarkets do actually sell especially Lidl.

In view of what you just said have just looked at 2 oranges in the fridge and there are no labels of any kind on them. I would only remove labels, if at all, when I eat them so, unless there was something not prominent on the display Auchan certainly don’t follow that rule.

A bunch of bananas in there simply is marked ‘Origine- Equateur’ Not much help that. If you are saying it is the law and I don’t find any info next time I will mention it to the manager to see what he says.

I thought Equateur meant Ecuador. They seem to send a lot of bananas here.

You’re right, of course. That’s all right then.

I just posted this in the comments. I wonder if it will pass moderation.

“Cela n’a rien à voir avec la religion. Cela a à voir avec le génocide commis par Israël. Quelques enfants israéliens sont peut-être bouleversés, mais 18 000 enfants palestiniens ont été tués. Des milliers d’autres ont subi des blessures qui changeront leur vie et encore plus sont affamés.

Il devrait être interdit aux Israéliens de voyager dans l’Union européenne jusqu’à ce qu’ils mettent fin au génocide.

As Israel is somewhat north of even the Tropic of Cancer, I doubt even Chinese Trading Standards would accept any product from Israel as “Of Equatorial Origin”.

Yes I know, all answered above by @Jennifer11 . It’s Ecuador.

The situation for the children of Gaza is desperate, being trapped between the relentless rock of Netanyahu and the unrelenting hard place of Hamas.

A small piece on the Today program has absolutely cracked me up.

A Save the Children worker was explaining how, when asked what they wished for, the aspirations of children has changed over recent times.

First, they were wishing for peace

Then the wanted their friend saved

They started wanting their family saved

Their wishes turned to themselves, and they wished for food.

… but now they wished to die because “in heaven there is food, water and love”
