Hi all,
I inherited my mum’s flat and am trying to get a numero fiscale to pay taxes. I informed them last year under my mum’s account and they said they would respond but didn’t.
Now the website throws an error when I try to message and so does the chat (language en-us). I tried to phone but their message inbox wouldn’t accept a message.
Snail mail looks to be the only answer but is anyone else getting these problems or have a suggestion?

I assume you’ve tried this, and this didn’t work?
“Online via the DGFiP Website
- Go to impots.gouv.fr
- Navigate to “Votre espace particulier” and click “Créer mon espace particulier”
- Choose “Je n’ai pas de numéro fiscal”
- Fill out the form with:
Full name
Date and place of birth
Nationality
French address
Email and phone number
- Submit a copy of your passport or ID and proof of residence (e.g., utility bill)”
Thank you, George, I hadn’t seen that, I assumed that the Succession would somehow filter through via the notaire.
Email sent to them with passport copy etc.
