Internet providers- help needed!

Any recommendations for best internet provider. We live in 33350 near Castillon but we only have a dongle and iPhone with data so we are getting by. We need to sort out the WiFi as our kids will never ever want to come across . We are looking at Bouygues or orange. We don’t have a landline number as the sellers hadn’t lived in house for 6 years so will need to get connected. Everyone asks for our landline number but we only have our mobiles. Can anyone advise who we need to contact regarding phone line and best internet provider? Thanks

Carrie, you will probably need to go to Orange for a new line.

See this thread:

There are ways and means…but really depends on your exact location for anyone to give more accurate advice Carrie.
You could assess this … https://www.nperf.com/en/map/FR/-/-/signal/?ll=46.437856895024204&lg=2.1972656250000004&zoom=5 which is a graphic on mobile internet coverage over France , and with it you can change a carrier to see what their coverage is like.

If you find that the coverage/range does not look too good, then it sort of crosses that one off.
On the other hand, if coverage is good, then you could go with a supplier for mobile internet. ie You get a router with a sim card which gives you the Internet.

Conversely if the mobile is a no go, then go for the landline install and best deal for your requirements.

Be wary of deals cheap to start, then after 12 months ramp up considerably.

Some useful info here too … as always double check info on 3rd party websites with the suppliers.
