Is it true?

Is it true that fonctionnaires who cannot work because they will not have a covid jab are able to be claim sick pay or holiday pay?

I assume so cos they can’t be sacked.

According to this, no. https://www.fonction-publique.gouv.fr/files/files/covid-19/FAQ-actualisee-10-aout-2021.pdf
They can use up their holiday entitlement, and when that is used up, other avenues are explored or they are basically suspended without pay. Not quite as simple as that, but that seems to be what it comes down to. They cannot be sacked but they can be put on ice.

I had understood what Sandcastle had (no pay, no sick pay) and no unemployment benefit which might also come into play as there is another deadline beyond which they can be terminated I thought ?

If we don’t work and we aren’t ill we don’t get paid. In any case even if we are at death’s door and a dr stops us working we lose day’s salary whatever. We can also be stood down without pay quite easily, and also once a due process has been gone through, eventually sacked but we need to do something really awful for that to happen. I am a fonctionnaire d’Etat de categorie A, it may be different for other categories and the fonction territoriale and hospitalière.
