In the UK the bank of Santander has been doing a big push on the advertising front trying to rake in some desperate customers. It smacks alarmingly of the Icelandic banks and Northern Rock which ramped up their advertising before crashing spectacularly. Could this be the start of the domino effect throughout the Eurozone?? Any positive slant on this would make welcome reading.
