The very first trompette is the hardest to spot, then you get your eye in. Is that larger specimen a hedgehog? (pied de mouton)

Nice mushrooms are usually found in abundance when growing, they dry well and taste nice can be dried ground and put in sauces, gravies etc. They grow in the same type of soil as Liberty caps, a completely different type of shroom…

Listening to a talk on mushrooms by someone, they explained that mushrooms communicate via the soil over hundreds of KM’s
Quite possibly. I’ve read that trees do too, and also have a symbiotic relationship with mushrooms.
This got me thinking: If I go looking and find some liberty caps, I could send some to choice members and create a thread.
