It’s wet out there…

I can’t believe the endless rain . I know that we are a lot better off here than many in other parts of France so I really shouldn’t be complaining but…trailing out to get wood in, walking the dog (sorry taking the dog for a paddle), doing the horses and everything else that involves leaving the premises means that I am getting soaked multiple times a day. And I’ve had enough! Need some sunshine!
Anyway, for Valentine’s Day I bought Monsieur a pair of these. He’s fussy about footwear (fussy about most things actually but that’s another story…) but he LOVES these.
I’ve had a pair for years and they are incredibly useful for slipping on to hang out washing, get the post - all those little trips in and out all day long. As comfortable as a decent pair of slippers but WATERPROOF!
You’re welcome!

They look good sadly they don’t go up to my size.

They go up to 46?

Yes I need 48 or more depending on the shoe

Blimey! That makes shoe shopping difficult!

But think of all the falling over avoided, with such a large base foundation.

You might have missed a trick, Cat. Crocs have brought out these.

My DIL takes 46 and has to go to an expensive shoe shop in town to buy anything decent. Mind you she is very tall so needs a bigger base to keep her upright. Grandson’s plates are getting large too at 5 years old, hope he won’t get too large.

How tall @Shiba - the tallest woman I’ve known was 1.90m tall. She was my Goal Shooter to me being Goal Attack in my netball team. Needless to say she didn’t have much opposition in the shooting circle with that height !
