It's complicated, isn't it?

While I abhor the possibility of foreign powers interfering in EU politics, I have an inconsistent, grudging approval of interfering in Iraq and frightening the bejesus out of the mad mullahs.

No doubt there will be unintended consequences, probably to the benefit of the war mongering genocide crew in Israel. But at least if it tempers a clamp down in Iraq it’ll have saved lives.

It sounds as though he has attacked Venezuela first.

Not bad going gor a man who said he wasn’t going to have a foreign policy of military intervention .

Yes, but he’s a nutter, and as soon as a few good souls take him off to the funny farm, the better.

Iran surely?

My old professor of Persian used to say the USA had never ever understood the Persian way of seeing or doing things because of ignorance of Persian history and culture, and had no idea how to deal with Iranians.

Indeed, age  I also keep calling Trump Bush in conversations with my wife :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

That’s so true for many countries. Even in France it applies - as many people who come to live here don’t understand the culture of the French like so many other nationalities don’t understand the humour of the British.
