We have this awful stuff by the roadside here in South Burgundy.
Does anyone know if it is classed as a noxious weed as it is in UK? Are there any regulations regarding this dreadful stuff, or are they just being ignored?
It gets fauchaged as the same time as the verge and is spread everywhere.
It is further away from us, on the main road, but there is some on on the commune roads and if they use the same machine, I expect it will arfrive eventually.
Within 1km but we have none.

It is here. Not too much but the potential to spread is there. Fauchage seems only control. Somebody shoould let them know. Whoever them is.
According to Wikipedia, there is a law prohibiting planting invasive species, but this one is not (yet?) on the list. Belgium has forbidden this one as of this year in the Wallonie region.
