Police are trying to figure out why why this happened…
The chap had been granted asylum in Sweden and is resident there…
he’s been in France for only 7 months…
he was not under the influence of drugs, nor alcohol…
he has no known mental-health problems…
Tragic, what a terrible thing for the kiddies and the parents.
And I think that’s what makes these very random attacks so scary!
Some of the kids are very, very young… but there are steps being taken to ensure that everyone involved, is receiving care/help in dealing with this ghastly event…
He had been refused asylum in France because he’d been granted asylum in Sweden.
Quite correct… he arrived in Sweden 10 years ago, applied for Asylum and was granted it by the Swedish Authorities… 'nuff said.
After that he can apply for Visas etc for whatever country… but not claim Asylum… not again…
It happened this morning before 10am. All children under 3, one british and one dutch and the baby of 22months, currently all hanging in there in different hospitals all over. The attacker had a wife and child and apparently on the news tonight was prone to disappearing a lot. Two elderly men also got stabbed and one shot accidentally by the police whilst trying to stop the knifeman.
