I love his joke when they have lost the power in the house and he looks outside and says, “It must be us, the bus has it’s headlights on”.
My favourite Peter Kay show was Phoenix Nights.
At the end they always held auditions. They were so funny.

I was involved in a theatre production of ‘ello ‘ello. How the actors got through it I do not know as although we all knew the script off by heart by the end, it was almost impossible not to laugh when the lines were delivered.
I remember a scene in one episode when Parsy is admiring her own passport photograph.
She says ‘I think the photographer caught something there.’
Saffy replies. ‘Yes, syphilis.’
Patsy, autocorrect again.
