My favourite Peter Kay show was Phoenix Nights.
At the end they always held auditions. They were so funny.

I was involved in a theatre production of ‘ello ‘ello. How the actors got through it I do not know as although we all knew the script off by heart by the end, it was almost impossible not to laugh when the lines were delivered.

I remember a scene in one episode when Parsy is admiring her own passport photograph.
She says ‘I think the photographer caught something there.’
Saffy replies. ‘Yes, syphilis.’
