We've been looking at getting a 4x4 for our next french project which will be rather tricky to access in the mud and snow. We've found a number of Land Rover Freelanders for sale in the UK at reasonable prices but they are RHD which have been converted to LHD and all are in the London area.
My questions are these:
Is it possible to get a LHD conversion registered in France?
Is there anything obvious we can look for to check if the conversion has been well done and will be reliable?
Are Freelanders as bad as some people say - what other 4x4 would you recommend?
