Hello people ,
i lost my carte de séjour on august of 2024 and its been almost 10 months without my card . Recently, i booked an appointment at my prefecture which is in paris . I was standing outside on the line for almost 7 hours even with the appointment paper with me . When I entered inside the prefecture they asked me the paper so I gave him my copy of my carte de séjour . My French is not good enough so they are not responding well , so he told me your card is not yet here and that’s it . They didn’t explained me a bit more . My hearts broke into pieces and I lost my hope . To be very honest ,I missed my family that time . I am the only person with no one here in Paris. I am so very thankful to France and government of France for giving us stay here as a refugee. In this country it’s nothing without carte de séjour I even got a warning email from la poste bank to update the status of my bank account. So far , I only have livret A atm card with me . Even , I always have to request my workmate to book my train ticket for me and so on . I have sent numerous of email to Enef site and prefecture de Paris of my situations but they are not responding at all . I am a girl with no hope left in me . I seriously don’t know what to do next . I wish and pray no one would have to go through this like me . If anyone has any idea on this then please let me know.
