As an animal lover living in France with a website covering the whole of France, I thought I would try to do my bit for animal welfare.

Anyone looking to adopt a pet can find various rescue sites across France, but I am sure there are many more out there. If you know of one that is not on the list, please add it here or email me. if you do not want to check the list just add it anyway as I can check myself.
For the record we have two lovely horses, Dill and Anna. Bramble the Springer. Clarissa, Marilyn and Delia the chickens and four stray cats, that sort of came with the house.
Just remember that a pet is not just for Christmas.
