Looking For Cream Cheese In France?

Why anyone would want to eat such disgusting slop is beyond me. If you are going to bring American products to France, then bring the best and not mass produced garbage that is full crap.

First time I found Philadelphia in France, at Leclerc:

Philadelphia is available here in the Saone et Loire.
If you do not want to use an American product, look for Petit Suisse.

I have a Swedish recipe for a kind of a ice-cake, only time I’ve used Philiadelphia in anything. Here in France I make it with Mascarpone.

I have eaten miniature thingies of Petit Suisse, I thought it was kind of a yogurt. I’ll try that some time.

Petit Suisse is good for all sorts of things, I use mascarpone for most cheesecakes and sometimes ricotta.

I use a mixture of mascarpone and fleurette to substitute for double cream.
