Does anyone know a breeder of Golden Retrievers in the Lot? I live near Puy L'Eveque and Prayssac.

Ah, so perfect timing. The staff at the refuges are usually extremely helpful and will answer as many questions about the 'inmates' as possible. I think sometimes an animal adopts us rather than the other way round - if they calmly look at you straight in the eye, you've found your match. Please do let us know if you find your new best bud. My fingers are crossed for you.
Thank you Valerie for your suggestions. Strangely enough we were thinking of going to Mirepoix soon so will pop into the refuge. Will let you know how we get on.

I know you specified pups (and breeders so assume you're after a pedigree) but on the offchance you simply like the breed, I'm attaching details of 4 golden retrievers currently looking for loving home in the Midi-Pyrenees. I dread to think how many there might be in France as a whole. Many dogs are dumped over the summer season as they're no longer 'useful' to have around so there will probably be more rescued every day. Sorry if I'm barking totally up the wrong tree (groan) if you've your heart set on little & pure, but please do just take a look.
