Come on all you geniuses out there, got a problem.
Ofcom have pulled the plug on a UK digital radio station i listen to on my phone, now i can’t listen to it as it picks up the French IP address on the router.
Any ideas how i can get round this please???
On TuneIn we can get 9 radio stations from Mauritius (don't think there are more than that anyway)
My TunIn would also be picking up my broadband French IP address though.
Another good internet app is http://www.accuradio.com

Both work using tunein on my iPad as well.

I just added both Planet Rock & Key 103 Manchester to my Pure Radio favourites. They now tune in as if I were in Manchester ...
Trouble is, you'll have to pay about £120 for the radio, but it's brilliant. (Try Amazon.co.uk - Mine is the Oasis Flow.)
I have to say that this was not my first thought when buying the radio. have a look at the Pure website?
Can you get Planet Rock on it Jane?
Why not get an internet radio? It may cst more but there is no fee to pay afterwards.
I have a Pure radio and I listen to radio 4 mainly.

1. use an online downloadable app that hides your ip address (useful for streaming etc...) and not expensive. I think about 40 quid for the year. Sometimes free. http://www.hidemyass.com/
2. go online, find it elsewhere, put in your (ahem) UK postcode ;0) Normally this approach works for us although we do the first suggestion also....

I’ve got tune in but that’s stopped picking it up aswell as of Monday.
If you need an app you could try tunein. http://tunein.com/mobile/ I am using it on my kindle and get radio 4 and radio 4 extra without too much problem, just an occasional blip while it reloads in the late afternoon. usually a signal to me to stop the job I am doing and take a tea break!
