Major solar company folds this August

If you are in the market for solar installations in this particularly hot weather a word of warning. A major supplier Open Energy has gone into liquidation judiciaire on 8th August leaving, it is reported, up to 14,000 customers without their promised systems.
The business is fiercely competitive with many large & small operators. Some are very doubtful to say the least. It pays to be very prudent and, in my opinion, seek references from satisfied clients & do due diligeance and never to pay on account more than, say, 5% and the rest on satisfactory tested installation.
