I think anyone has the right to film anyone else in a public area and publish it. They can even film you inside your house from the street - I believe. There are thousands of people who do this to highlight the law. inside any public building, in public areas. You can even use a drone (a small drone) and fly over a building or land as long as you are on public land.
I’d have thought videos of a sexual nature would be covered under another law, but I think people have the right to video you on a public beach , for instance and you have no rights to stop them.
To a degree that’s true in the UK, but it can conflict with decency and other laws. You might know what French law says about that, as someone who has lived in France.
That’s sad, Although I could appreciate it on the nights my head is full of melting faces.
French has quite strict privacy of rights to one’s one image laws, unless you are in a public place where you could reasonably expect to be photographed. Even then you can still protest
In all honesty I have far more of an issue with men going round in public without a top on (or women being inappropriately dressed as in the article) than I ever would about actual nudity. It physically makes me recoil when I’m in a supermarket or a nice beach restaurant or such and some oik is there bare chested because they have no idea about decorum in public when around others. On a beach, in a pool / spa / baths or whatever let it all hang out, all good with me if you’re completely naked, but when I’m trying to enjoy my meal surrounded by well dressed pleasantly fragrant people, some character of whatever gender flashing their nipples, arse crack, and far too often significant belly, because they couldn’t be bothered to put a tee and some shorts on infuriates me to a degree that even I find concerning
Many many years ago, in the 80s sometime, as an inter-railing youth, I lazed on an Atlantic coast beach enjoying the sun and the sounds of sea. Three young teen girls arrived, stripped off completely and plonked themselves down, not a care in the world. I was dumbfounded. This was their enviroment (I presume) and their norm. If there was a problem, it was mine.
From my reading, I’m guessing that wouldn’t happen today.
Ah which one. There is the comedy series featuring well known people or a reality series about brits who live in their camper vans on sites making ends meet. Loved the comedy series, Tim Healey as Lesley the tranny with the deep laugh and walking legs apart and Kenneth the gay hairdresser in micro shorts and crocs with a quiff on his head.
