NEW ROUTES Bergerac to Central London & elsewhere in Europe....etc

Hello, Just signed up to this paper and thought I'd post this info...

http://www.bastidelife.com/home/travel/371-bergerac-airport-new-routes-boost.html

Very heartening, I'm sure you'd agree, given the somewhat pessimistic predictions for Bergerac airport in previous discussions...

Hi Hilary,

Clicked on the link and got attacked by a virus which Norton successfully fought off. Thought you should know.

Sorry ...bizarrely, I realise the date of the info about this feature is much earlier than the date of the online paper itself..(what a strange way of doing things..)...

So this may be old news to some of you....

Desole....

Thanks, Don, I am protected....

Aaaarrggrrhhha !......

Update re the 'New Routes'........(anxious to 'unconfuse' anyone confused by my previous postings)..

Browsing through the may 2016 Bugle (before using it as mulch in my garden beds), I have come across an article on page 6 , entitled "London City Flights Unveiled"........

Apparently there was a Special evening event on Thurs 14th April, Bond themed, Casino Royale, no less....To cut to the chase, British Airways is flying from Bergerac direct to London City Airport, first flight Sunday 1st of May......

"...using a British Airways owned Embraer, as the route develops a BA leased Saab 700 aircraft will come into service. One way tickets cost from 73 Euros and there are 3 scheduled flights a week...."

Also they were celebrating another connection for Business class flyers, BA Bergerac link to JFK new york via London City.

"The airline, the airport and it's partners all look forward to increased, valuable traffic for the benefit of all."
