I am referring to your flyer, I can’t very well post you a link to it! It is obvious that nobody has proofread it.
Lets toast: you need an apostrophe in ‘let’s’, and it is just ‘let’s toast the New Year’, no preposition is necessary.
You need a comma between New Year and ‘wearing our finest’.
No full stop after ‘Euros’.
Immediately after Euros, ‘per’ takes neither a capital letter nor a full stop, it isn’t an abbreviation.

Can you please tell me why I am receiving e-mails from people who are in the mood to pick fault with a post, do they not have better things to do in life.

I didn’t comment on any of the mistakes in your messages, they are informal communication and we all slip up, especially when typing at speed.
I am assuming, however, that your flyer is a formal document which will be circulated to lots of people, its quality reflects directly on your competence as an event organiser, which is why it is a shame it was not proofread.

I have to say that I’m with Véronique on this. The detail is important and for someone to claim that they are a professional on one hand but publish a poster like that on the other questions have to be asked. Standards are everything.

These comments that I have received recently, are very hurtful and
makes me wish I had not posted anything on ‘Survive France’.
All I want to do is to organise something that is very special for NYE
as normally there are not many Dinner Dances about these days.
Last year I posted on AngloInfo for Christmas Day, inviting people who
had not organised their Christmas Day festivities or were alone, to
join my Husband
and myself for Lunch at a restaurant in Allemans -sur-Dropt, Well!
you would not have believed the negetive comments that were posted, infact
Angloinfo deleted about 6 comments out of the 20 odd I had received.
I must say that the people who joined us had a great Lunch, great
atmosphere and wonderful ambience.I CANNOT UNDERSTAND PEOPLE, IF THEY’RE NOT INTERESTED IN THE POSTING,
