Could this not be an additional reason to apply to rejoin the EU? There must be a little chump change (so to speak :wink:) left from the exit bill?

Given the strife during the exit I don’t think any of the 27 (except maybe Ireland) would even entertain opening negotiations. Plus I think joining the Euro and Schengen would be prereqs and as for the old EU budget “rebate”… :joy: :rofl: :joy: The UK had a sweet deal and threw it away.

I think that membership of the EU is only open to democracies. Would the UK qualify?
