Oh crikey Trump

It has been said that Ross started filming with phone in his right hand, then switched the phone to his left before he unholstered his gun.

It is now front and center on the Washington Post, if you can get to it.

It’s come to this. The Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize committee has been forced to clarify that the prize cannot be transferred, as in from Machado to Trump.

That’ll be Norway getting invaded then!

Trump says he needs to take Greenland because he refuses to have Russia as a neighbor. Is he aware of the juxtaposition of Greenland Canada and USA? Is he aware that Alaska is part of USA.

Denmarks got Greenlands defence sorted now

If we can persuade the Americans to attack in bare feet then that will be an excellent defence.

That country is just completely sick. They really have lost their minds.

Glenn Kirchner - former homicide prosecutor. What to do if Trump declines to investigate the killing in Minneopolis.

The renovation is very expensive but is self-funded from the Fed’s own earnings (not taxpayer dollars) and modernizing its critical infrastructure is overdue. From what I understand the cost is commensurate with what the complex needed.

But Trump’s out to get anyone in his way, and any excuse, any crack or fissure, whatever it takes, to crush his perceived opponents, he will pursue it.

I’m just waiting now for the 2026 mid-term elections. Then we will see just how much more backward the USA will become. Hopefully by then some sense may prevail!

@Bonzocat

“I’m just waiting now for the 2026 mid-term elections.”

Will he find a way to stop them going ahead if they look unfavourable to him, or will people continue to vote for him and his gang (surely not but we live in strange times).

I’m not guessing, just waiting to see what happens later this year. No one knows what will happen then including Trump. But he will most certainly use whatever underhand means at his disposal to make sure, most probably, to prevent those elections from taking place, if he can. If he can’t and he loses the House, he still has the power of veto I understand. Brewing in the back of my mind is the hope he will be naturally incapacitated before then.

Report from 2013 about Federal officers putting themselves in the path of cars where the driver is trying to flee. Also the practice of shooting into cars.

Incapacitated in any way is good enough for me, Vance at the same time would be even better.

Eaten by a polar bear in Greenland would be a poetic way to go.

Hmmm….Vance.

Let’s be careful

That slogan seems oddly familiar…

Oh, yeah, “Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer”. I mean, it’s not exact, but it is close enough.

Also Kristi Noem standing in front of a lectern emblazoned with the slogan “One of Ours. All of Yours” - widely interpreted as recalling the habit of the Nazis had of killing entire villages if one of them was killed or injured.

They aren’t even hiding it now, are they?

The US and Russia are already nextdoor neighbours:

”The Diomede Islands are located in the middle of the Bering Strait between mainland Alaska and Siberia. At their closest points, the two islands are approximately four kilometers (2.4 miles) away from each other.”

Well, exactly

A few people have been pointing that out.

Well, I suppose it’s just an excuse for doing what they were going to do anyway.

I put this bit in bold. Perhaps you missed it, perhaps my error for considering it relevant, but they are unlikely to maintain the weapons systems of a potential aggressor.
the UK relies on the US for maintaining its arsenal.
I hope it never has to be tested, but maybe it’s time for the UK to became independent of USA influence (or downright control). Although I don’t anticipate Farage and co. shouting about that aspect of ‘sovereignty’.
