Oh crikey Trump

Whilst America is safely tucked away out of Irans reach, for now at least. Meanwhile, missing from a lot of the news, Fox, BBC etc but featured on Al Jazeera is Tel Aviv taking a real pounding. Something they probably didn’t expect.

Trumps’ nemesis on his way?

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, they want to put tariffs back to where they were before the Supreme Court struck them down.

And now Trump is talking to Kurds in Iraq and Iran about arming them to spark an uprising in Iran. What could possibly go wrong with this half-baked idea?

A fragmented are internally-warring country is much less of a problem for Israel to dominate. Job done.

The $130 billion worth of illegal tarifs to be refunded according to International Trade Court.

And the federal judge handling the refund cases has refused to delay repayments.

That’s going to make a huge dent in US finances. As (I think) @billybutcher pointed out, the tarif income was one of the things that made the US economy look more buoyant than it would have done. Of course, it was US citizens that paid most of the $130 billion in tarifs, but I doubt they will see a ¢ of it.

Went to top up the car with diesel today, and the price has jumped to over 1,91 euros/l, up from about 1,69 since filling it up on Tuesday. A lot of cars queuing and nearly everyone filling up their jerry cans too.

I saw an interesting Iranian propaganda clip on some TV programme last night. Tunnels and tunnels of lined up Shahed drones on each side. Could easly have been fake, but then again

I wonder how long it will really take for peace to break out.

“It was also clouded by confusion over voting in Dallas county, the state’s second largest and Crockett’s home base.”

Distributing misinformation and witholding information, thus sowing confusion, will be among Trump’s ploys at the next elections. That and cutting postal votes. He knows the level of interest and commitment of the average voter.

Listening to some of the back woods hickeys comments they think Trump is marvellous.

Or possibly, “Tis the time’s plague when madmen lead the blind”.

Yes, it will be an uphill, unfair struggle but, for me, Talarico is the best man to do it although I am not even sure if he will be seeking the Democratic presidential nomination.

He’s got to win in Texas first. Hope the French post office is accepting mail for the US by the time the election comes round so we can get our postal votes in.

Caused by a Republican state judge overruling another judge and the Republican party refusing to hold their primaries on the same day as the Democrats, something which was customary. The second created polling confusion (as it was meant to do) and the first ensuring lots people didn’t get to vote (again, as it was meant to do).

Whatever happened to flobil?

Crickey

Provided of course that you have been able to register your eligibility to vote as the latest legislation passing through Congress requires. (SAVE Act)
An effective way of disenfranchising many Americans resident outside of the USA. Makes me wonder for which party said group of electors have historically tended to support.

I see Kristi Noem has been fired, albeit gently.

About time. Being polite, there are varying degrees of sanity in the administration however she was definitely on the extreme side.
Of course announced now when there are far bigger things going on so it will quickly become old news.

Yes. It may be just ‘too’hard’’ for us overseas Americans to get verified.

Probably all cat ladies and Democrats anyway.
